Mike and his good friend David started their interest in aviation in southern Idaho in 1978.  Both quickly advanced from model rockets to control line and then RC aircraft.  We both remember well that first Airtronics Q-Tee powered by a Cox .049 engine.  That wound up in a million pieces after the first flight.

Mike advanced by getting a Marks Models Wanderer 72" glider.  He then hand launched that plane time after time and eventually learned the finesse necessary to fly RC airplanes.

While Mike has had a few gaps in his modeling career he has never lost his love for aviation in all of its aspects.  He especially enjoys writing reviews for eZone and has a great group of friends to fly with.
